Hello and welcome to the online home of
Saint George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Upper Darby, PA.
We are a diverse community of worshipers gathering together just outside of Philadelphia
to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, and love our neighbors.

We'd love for you to look around, get in touch, and "come and see".
Our regular weekly services are: Vespers at 5:00pm on Saturday, and Matins and Liturgy on Sunday starting at 9:30 and 10:30am.
Welcome and God Bless!

Theophany of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ

When You, O Lord were baptized in the Jordan, the worship of the Trinity was made manifest for the voice of the Father bore witness to You  and called You His beloved Son. And the Spirit, in the form of a dove, confirmed the truthfulness of His word. O Christ, our God, You have revealed Yourself and have enlightened the world, glory to You!

Current Requirements for Attending Services in Person:
Based upon the wisdom of our hierarchs and guidance from the medical community within both the diocese and archdiocese, it is the current practice of our parish community to sign up to attend Liturgy to maintain conditions that help to keep our parishioners safe. Our parish is taking these measures so that when the time comes, our parish can open without restrictions. Please see below for a summary of our current practices:
  • If you would like to attend a service in person, you MUST sign up using the Sign Up Genius link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040A4EACA92CA2FF2-attend6
  • If you attend a service in person, you MUST wear a mask while in the building and are unable to social distance.
  • If you do not sign up using the link above to attend a service, please do not show up to the church building in person. We cannot handle excess overflow of people who do not sign up.
