Welcome to St. George!

Picture
Whether you are a first time visitor, or an old friend, we welcome you to St. George Church. We are glad that you came to our website for a look, and we hope that you'll visit with us in person.

Our parish is a community of faithful praying and ministering together in Upper Darby, PA, which is located just a few miles west of Center City along
W. Chester Pike.

We accept and teach the witness of the Holy Scripture and Holy Tradition that has been handed down since Apostolic times.
Our parish community is made up of people from different backgrounds: Middle Eastern, Greek, Russian, and American.

     Services are in English.

Again, we are glad you stopped here for a visit, and we hope you can visit us in person.

Please contact us if you have any questions.

Some Things To Know
  • We are very glad that you chose to come and pray with us!

  • We aren't going to make you stand up and introduce yourself, but we hope you can stay after the Liturgy and let us introduce ourselves.

  • If you would like to give a free will offering we thank you very much, but it is not necessary.

  • We love children! We also know that sometimes they love everything, sometimes a lot. If you need to, please don't be embarrassed to take a break and let them stretch their legs in the hall. When you and they are ready we're waiting upstairs.
