One of the ways that Orthodox Christians remember those who have reposed is to make Kolyva. On August 29th after celebrating the Liturgy for the Beheading of St John the Forerunner some of our parish family gathered with Fr.Joel and Anastasia to discuss the history of Kolyva and to learn to make it. It was a delicious time for everyone.
